Join the Fine Arts Department and Somerset Contra Dance as we host Techno Contra on Campus!A short lesson will begin at 7:00pm with the dance beginning at 7:30pm in the STONER LITTLE THEATRE! (with a WOOD FLOOR!)
- Contra dancing is a form of folk dance made up of long lines of couples. Similar to square dancing in the social aspect. Dances will be led by a caller, typically with a live band.
- Beginner friendly dancing with an at home, folk feel. Techno Contra is led by a caller and DJ, calling to techno-themed contra music!
- Light refreshments will be provided.
- All are welcome! No dance experience or partner necessary!
