We will be dancing in the streets!We will be dancing, walking in the Johnson City Christmas Parade. We will have a truck decorated for their theme, Gingerbread City. Musicians from the ETSU Old-Time, and Roots Music Studies.
We will hand out candy and flyers about our local dances.
The caller will help by calling dance moves that will be easy and fun to do while walking in the parade.
Dress up if you like. We want others to see just how much fun Contra dancing can be.
To help support Damascus Trail Town Twirl in rebuilding interest in the town we are supporting their Christmas parade.
There is a dance there on Saturday night Dec. 7th and we will hand out flyers for their dance and candy and do a little dancing in the streets.
Dance in one or both. If you participate in both you will get a free pass to a Historic Jonesborough Dance Society dance.
If you are interested in participating please message us so we can make sure to get you info on location set up and times.
