About this Event
Oh, the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
Have you always been afraid to make gingerbread? Have you heard of Hot Buttered Rum? (Non-alcoholic version, of course) Ouch, my joints are hurting!!! Try some Golden Milk.
Let's make beverage mixes to put in our pantry for those cold nights. During the workshop we will explore why we crave certain comfort foods and beverages for those cold nights as well as why they resonate with the holiday and winter season.
While we are at it, we will discuss ways to keep warm at night while saving some on our electric bill.
All supplies will be provided in class. Bring a journal and pen for taking notes.
