Founded in 2020, Continuum Chamber Collective is an ensemble of musicians dedicated to presenting dynamic, context-driven programming for diverse audiences and communities. Continuum fosters artistic collaboration and creates intimate, connected performance experiences that resonate beyond traditional performance spaces. From art galleries and concert halls to bookstores and living rooms, Continuum balances contemporary works with beloved classical repertoire performed at the highest artistic standard.
Continuum has premiered several works and has served as a source of inspiration for multiple living composers. Highlights include the world premiere of Akshaya Avril Tucker’s Could Only Be Fantasy (2023), the New York City premiere of Lisa Heffter’s Carbon Fiber String Quartet (2023), and Jie Yang’s Sonata for Violin and Cello: Mountain Tunes and Dances (2024). Continuum has performed across the DMV, New York City, and Michigan, and its members are accomplished performers and educators, serving on collegiate faculties and leading ensembles throughout their respective areas.
