Continuous Improvement Conference 2023
Join us for a day of learning & sharing at our annual improvement conference. The day will include external guest speakers along with presentations from our own WWL colleagues, sharing their improvement journeys. There will be many opportunities to network, discuss, share ideas, review problems and learn how we can work together moving forwards into 2024.
We would like to introduce you to our external speaker, Brook Howells. Brook is a Senior Improvement Advisor working across a range of programmes at Aqua (Advancing Quality Alliance Northwest). Leading the development of AQUA's Human Factors programmes and Appreciative Inquiry work, she enjoys working with people to utilise both approaches for their improvement ambitions. Joining Aqua in 2012 to facilitate the National Shared Decision Making programme, she continues to advocate for personalised as well as safe and high quality care. As a registered Technical Member of the Chartered Institute for Ergonomics and Human Factors Brooke is currently studying for an MSc in Human Factors at Loughborough University, focusing on understanding behaviour in complex adaptive systems. Having completed a Masters in Practical Ethics at York in 2008 she is keen to support teams in developing just and restorative approaches to safety and quality across health and social care. Brook will be sharing her insight on identifying resilience through investigations, with examples of current great practice.

Registration will open at 9.00am, allowing the opportunity to visit marketplace stalls prior to the start of the event at 10.00am. Close at 4.30pm. Parking is available on site.
