Continuation of Operations

This 8-hour Continuation of Operations course is designed for law enforcement agencies and staff. It provides students with guidance, tools, and other information necessary to develop plans of action. Plans of action will prepare agencies before and allow them to continue operating during and after critical incidents. They will know how to continue the performance of all essential functions by identifying stakeholders, key positions, and the roles and responsibilities of everyone involved. Students will understand the why behind this type of preparation and its value to various groups who may encounter a wide range of emergencies. Students learn planning components, including activation procedures, finances, communications, procedures, and documentation. This course also discusses the importance of mid-incident updates and debriefings. Students leave prepared to be successful and thrive during and following a sustained event.
