Learn a more ergonomic, efficient way to knit with Pru Raymond. Uncover the mystery of the leading leg and gain even more control over your knitting!

Skill Level

This three hour workshop is suitable for knitters of all levels: knitters wanting to adopt a new method for tensioning their yarn, or people wanting to start knitting for the first time.

Materials Required

Needles: 4 mm knitting needles (circular or straight)

Yarn: 1 x 50 -100g 8ply/ DK yarn

Inclusions

You will be provided with expert teaching, written instructions and a Continental style breakfast including pastries, fruit, tea/coffee and more!

Materials are not supplied as part of the workshop fee. You are encouraged to bring your own or select "workshop kit" from Add ons when purchasing your ticket.

Teacher Bio

Pru Raymond has sold out knitting workshops and stackable retreats in yarn stores, knitting festivals and community centres Australia-wide, and in yarn stores on the east and west coast of USA.

Pru has worked as a qualified teacher for almost 20 years. She combines her expertise as a professional educator and her lifelong passion for knitting to develop original, engaging knitting workshops that are inclusive of all learners. Pru has an in-depth knowledge of diverse styles and techniques and demonstrates new skills in English, Combination and Continental Styles.

• Tickets purchased before 15 May 2026 5pm ACST may be cancelled for a refund, minus admin fee.
• Tickets cancelled after 15 May 2026 5pm ACST for any reason will not be refunded.
• Tickets can be gifted to another person.
• Tickets for this event cannot be exchanged for tickets to another Dear Pru workshop.
