About the Pageant:
The Mr. & Miss Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant is a fundraising pageant that honors and uplifts youth who embody the values of Black freedom, cultural pride, academic achievement, and community leadership with crowned winners receiving scholarships to support their educational journey.

🎟️ Tickets for the general public will go on sale in Spring 2026.
Pageant Requirements:
Participation is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Must identify as Black, African American, Afro-Latinx, of African descent, or as a member of the broader Black and Brown community with a demonstrated commitment to uplifting Black culture and history
- Must reside in or have meaningful ties to the Johnston County, NC community
- Must be ages 13-18
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 (most recent report card or transcript may be required)
- Must be available for mandatory workshops, rehearsals, community service activities, and the pageant date
- Must demonstrate and uphold the values of leadership, respect, cultural pride, and service to the community

- Crownings for Mr. & Miss Juneteenth 2026, 1st Runner-Up, Mr. or Miss Congeniality, and Community Impact
Registration Information:
- Registration Fee: $25
- Deadline to Register: Sunday, November 2, 2025
- Limited spots available — early registration is strongly encouraged
