Contemporary Book Study, an ecumenical group of Christian women, meets at the Brazos County Senior Center the third Tuesday of each month at 9:15.
The January 20 book is "The Immortal Story of Henrietta Lacks," by Rebecca Skloot, a non-fiction book.
The February 17th book, "Breaking Your Neck Is a Pain in the Butt," by local author, Cherie Cotner. A true story of how she has coped with the challenge of being paralyzed in an auto accident in 1983.
