Pleasure Triple Play is a dance workshop where everyone is free to move, connect, and belong. Neuroscience describes the “pleasure double play” of dance as the joy of music combined with the joy of movement. This workshop proposes a third element: the pleasure of dancing together. Moving side by side, sharing rhythms, and meeting new people turns dance into a collective celebration. This experience is rooted in the belief that the joy of movement belongs to everyone, and that it grows when shared. Together, we’ll revisit the everyday dance moves our bodies already know: the ones from our kitchens, living rooms, and streets, and transform them into a joyful collective practice. Expect grooving, shaking, twirling, and jumping, alongside moments to pause, talk, and connect with your fellow dancers.
The workshop welcomes participants from all backgrounds and with all kinds of movement possibilities. The facilitation will be in English, and we ask you to commit to the full two-hour experience. Bring your most iconic dance outfit, a water bottle, and your brightest vibes. And if the weather is kind, we might even take the dance outside.
Facilitator: Mercedes Balarezo Fernández
Participants: The workshop welcomes everyone from the age of 10 upward, with no upper age limit. Children under 13 are invited to join together with a responsible adult to share the fun.
Age: Adults and youngsters from 10 onwards
Number: maximum 60 people
How long should the participants commit for?
The workshop is designed as a two-hour journey that builds from beginning to end, so we encourage everyone to stay for the full session, as there will also be moments to pause, talk, and connect. Passers-by are welcome to join spontaneously, but they will be informed that the experience lasts until 18:00, and we hope they remain with us until the end.
