We’re thrilled to invite you to a Contact Improvisation Dance Jam with live music, hosted in collaboration with Mudam Luxembourg! This event offers a rare opportunity to explore movement and connection in the stunning setting of Luxembourg’s modern art museum, accompanied by live, improvised music 🎶.
What is Contact Improvisation?
Contact improvisation is a social dance form rooted in spontaneous movement, shared weight, and balance. Through creative expression and mutual awareness, we’ll connect with each other in a supportive and inspiring space. No previous experience in dance or improvisation is required—just an open mind and a love for movement.
What to Expect:
- A welcoming space open to all experience levels ✨️
- A brief introduction to contact improvisation principles
- Surprising games to help us get together and break the ice 🧊
- An energetic and enjoyable warm-up to prepare for free movement, integrating all participants into the dancing Jam 💃 🕺
- Live music that will guide and inspire our movements, played by experienced and amazing musicians 🫶
- Plenty of time to jam and enjoy free, creative expression

- Please bring your smile and comfortable clothing that allows for freedom of movement.
- Bring water and any personal items you may need.
- Please make sure you are there 10 to 15 minutes before 6.30pm, so we can start all together on time 💫
