Constellations from the Quarry is an exhibition which presents the several outcomes which led to the installation of URNA at the London Design Biennale. These include a photo essay by Anne Immelé, a film by Stephanie Sant, artefacts designed by Ebejer Bonnici and the catalogue designed by ANCC. URNA proposes a future ritual for bodily disposition, using reconstituted stone in order to create large spherical, sedimentary structures which are arranged like a constellation, a field of memory. The team similarly worked across contexts, countries and disciplines, informing each of the outputs through a collaborative curatorial environment. URNA is Andrew Borg Wirth, Anthony Bonnici, Matthew Attard Navarro, Thomas Mifsud, Stephanie Sant, Anne Immelé and Tanil Raif. URNA, the Malta Pavilion was awarded the medal for Best Overall Contribution at the London Design Biennale. URNA was commissioned by Arts Council Malta and made possible through support from Halmann Vella, Gasan Foundation, Embassy of France in Malta, Malta Enterprise, Visit Malta, KM Malta Airlines and all other partners.
