About this Event
Musician and community-builder Anna Bigland-Pritchard and sound practitioner + Deep Listening facilitator Charlie Gates will bring queer, trans, and allied community members together for a relaxed, immersive sonic soundscape concert, and collective sound-making experience.
Featuring vocal looping performances by both Anna and Charlie, and guided group sound-making, this event is designed to support and build connection. Participants will enjoy an evening away from screens and other distractions, connecting to sound and community in a new way.
This project connects 2SLGBTQIA+ folks by bringing people together to enjoy a free concert, the opportunity to experiment with group vocal improv and sound-making, and time to mingle with other community members.
Creativity in the context of community builds resilience, hope, and artistic possibility! With no cost to attend, participants will connect with others face to face, supported by a nourishing and creative event container.
Note: If you are sick, please take care of the group by giving your spot to someone else and staying home until you feel better.
