About this Event
ADHD adults are frequently told they need structure, routines and systems to cope, at work and at home. Some of that helps, but it can also add pressure rather than easing it.
In this talk, we’ll look at what it means to support yourself with ADHD. People come to our courses and coaching feeling that they are the problem, and that if they could just try harder or be more disciplined, things would work better.
Often, it’s the way our environment is set up that isn’t working for us. It can be damaging to keep forcing ourselves to adapt to structures that don’t suit us or don’t matter to us. Many of us think it's a personal failing - it isn’t. It’s a need for interest, stimulation and movement that starts to make sense once you understand your ADHD brain.
We’ll explore ways of supporting yourself with ADHD that actually feel supportive.
