About this Event
Join New Jersey Audubon and local conservation organizations to learn about financial and technical assistance in your area! This event is intended for southern New Jersey landowners; a second event in northern New Jersey will be held on April 23rd.
Following brief presentations, we will provide printed maps of the specific location that you’re interested in restoring and you will be able to talk to industry professionals and receive tailored advice and schedule follow-up site visits for potential conservation work.
Topics covered include habitat for grassland birds, American Black Duck, and Bog Turtle, as well as broader conservation focuses like restoring wetlands, forestlands and land preservation! Partner attendees include US Fish and Wildlife Service, Natural Resources Conservation Service, The Xerces Society, and other local groups that can help you manage your land for conservation.
This event will be held at the Millville Public Library from 12pm-2pm in the Grant room. Please contact Kati DePaola with any questions at [email protected].
