For 30 years, acclaimed photographer and Nebraska native Michael Forsberg has captured the Great Plains through a camera lens, sharing a unique perspective of what was once one of Earthโs greatest grassland ecosystems. Through captivating images from his work, Forsberg will share with guests his lifelong journey following North Americaโs cranes up and down the Central Flyway and the ever-changing water resources of the region. See how stories and imagery that, when shared, have the power to elevate science and transcend politics to help each of us connect personally, care deeply and understand whatโs at stake in preserving the nationโs heartland. This conversation will be moderated by Amy Sandeen, the Outreach and Special Events Manager with Crane Trust Nature & Visitor Center in Wood River, Nebraska.
Admission: These events are FREE for museum members; regular admissions applies for non-members. Registration required.
