Why:Address the need for an embodiment of and cultivate—
(1) All our relations
(2) Conscious living
(3) Healthy relationships
Have you felt unseen or unheard in the conscious community? Do you feel that the conscious community is compartmentalized and needs to blend into the rest of the world as a conduit for positive transformation? Would you like to get to know someone in the community outside of the dance floor? If you answered yes to these questions, then this group is for you.
What:
Expand the bliss and connection we feel on the dance floor and deeply listen to topics around humanization, loving communication, and increasing compassion from our community, and bringing it into larger contexts.
How:
1.5-hour facilitated group by yours truly to invite the beauty of mystery and non-attachment. We encourage you to post open-ended questions here in this group, and I will write them on pieces of paper and fill our community jar. During this Sunday’s session, a lucky participant will pick from the jar, and we will reflect on the selected topic together.
Covenants:
1. Leave the ego at the door
2. Listen when one person is talking. Listen as if they are the focal point of meditation.
3. Use “I” statements and refrain from directing or projecting hostility toward another participant
4. Keep confidentiality within the group.
5. Ask for permission if you feel called to share a story outside the group.
6. Foster mutual respect by giving each other choices.
7. Practice non-harm: Communicate with love and the intention of healing. Embody non-violent communication.
8. Shadow work is welcome. Refrain from spiritual bypassing.
9. Respect the time for sharing and deep listening, and refrain from replying and ‘fixing’ during the session. If welcomed, you may follow up with a participant outside the session.
10. If you experience intense emotions and welcome a hug or a caring touch, raise your hand after you share or at the moment of release, and our volunteer care team will provide it.
11. We may add to these sacred agreements at any time. This covenant welcomes your voice in creating a safe and brave container. What would you like to add?
Deep listening and feedback process:
Post your open-ended questions in the FB event or before the start of the session.
Some examples are: What does a healthy relationship mean to you? What does growth mean for you in 2024? How does one heal a broken heart? How do we embody “conscious” living? How does one measure “conscious living”?
During the session:
2:30-2:15 warm arrival
2:15 Container Closes. We will start with 3 minutes of covenantal agreements for holding a safe and brave space
2:33 Pick an open-ended question from the container
2:35 Depending on the number of participants, we will each have around 5 minutes to share verbally, somatically or a combination of words and movements.
-The intention is for each of us to be heard.
-We won’t be replying to or directly addressing someone in the group. Instead, the group is a time for sharing, deep listening and removing the pressure of fixing one another.
-We each carry valuable wisdom to share from our experiences.

Who:
The first few sessions are the pilot group with a manageable core of 20 people or less. Remember that we will have 3-5 minutes of sharing in one hour and a half. Later, we can discuss the pros and cons of an open or closed group. Closed means we want people to start with us on time to agree to our group covenants. If you arrive late, we welcome your attendance at the next gathering. Confirm your attendance and invite someone you would like to get to know better to this intimate gathering.

Post-Sunday dance picnic at 2:30 pm -4:15 pm.
