About this Event
Being an artist at the moment can be rough - this session will be a chance to vent your frustrations and get some supportive advice on loosening the grip of imposter syndrome, perfectionism and balancing creative practice with your mental health!
It's also a chance to meet the other queer creatives around and form some lovely community
This event is a collaboration between A Whole Orange and Rosanna, who will bring their experience and personal perspective for some lovely guidance <3
The £5 entry fee is optional - feel free to get a free ticket if you need to!
Schedule:
7pm - Arrive and mingle
8pm - Discussion/talk
9pm - Mingle and mix (groups will be mixed up to make sure you meet everyone!)
10pm - The event will be over, but we have the room until close so feel free to stick around :)
Venue Details:
- We have a room all to ourselves - Little Nan's Bar's 'Grandads shed' - so it will be a private, safe meet up in a sweet queer venue!
- Open friendly vibe
- I always lay out some activities, games, or simple crafts to keep any nervous hands occupied
- Low/colourful lighting - but I switch off any flashing lights
- Low-level background music
- The room is wheelchair accessible, however the toilets involve one step up
- Little Nan's is right by Deptford station - which has step free access
