It's Spring cleaning time at the studio!
If you've been here before, you know the drill. If not, here's the scoop: our plates and bowls aren't always perfect — freckles, dimples, shiny spots, the occasional wrinkle.
Imperfect? Yes. Still beautiful? Absolutely.
Since we can't sell them as firsts, we mark them down 30–50% for our in-person sale. It only happens twice a year, and things get a little wild [ consider yourself warned! ]
HOSPITALITY OVERSTOCK
We create specialty custom plates for some of the best restaurants in the world. Every piece doesn't come out perfectly, so we always make more than we need — this is what we call Hospitality Overstock. Over time, those shelves fill up and we need to make space for more.
So if you're looking to snag some really cool, one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic pieces — or want to fill your kitchen cabinets with some perfectly imperfect plates and bowls — now is your chance.
Olivia Barry / By Hand will also be hosting a sample sale during the event (Saturday only). She combines her background in industrial design and ceramics to create award-winning lighting and artwork installations.
