Connection & Conversation workshop with Jo Wilcox This will be a lead/Follow balanced workshop and is suitable for dancers comfortible at Intermediate level dancing.
Connection is the non-verbal communication system that allows two dancers to move as one:- the "telephone line" through which both the leader and the follow send signals so each can receive and respond to them. This workshop will focus on
Physical Connection (Technique)
Musical Connection – Interpreting music together
Mental & Emotional Connection – the ‘intangible’ or ‘soft’ skill
Visual Connection - Reading partners body movement
