About this Event
In this event we will touch on a brief introduction to science, history and transformational potential of medicinal mushroom Amanita Muscaria drawing on my explorations and study as well as on wider research. We will journey with the spirit of Amanita Muscaria through a guided meditation to uncover her wisdom, teachings and guidance. Through an optional gentle wrist ointment, we will connect with her essence and open our hearts and minds to receive the gifts of insight that can help us navigate our lives. There will be an opportunity to share insights in a circle and draw a medicinal mushroom oracle card.
DETAILED PROGRAMME:
2.45pm arrive
This important arrival time gives everyone an opportunity to settle in the space, grab a cup of tea in the Lodge Café, meet other participants and make yourself comfortable.
3pm circle introductions
This will be an opportunity to share your experiences with medicinal mushrooms and in particular Amanita Muscaria. I will introduce myself and elicit from you, your particular areas of interest so that we can speak to this where possible throughout the workshop.
3.10pm purification, invocation
We will connect with the ancestors of the land to hold us in a safe contained space for the work ahead. We will cleanse energetically with sage and a short invocation and intention setting.
3.20pm science, history, healing potential
Will touch on brief introduction to science, history and transformational potential of medicinal mushroom Amanita Muscaria drawing on my explorations and study as well as on wider research. This is a powerful plant that grows in a unique synergy with a magical birch tree, and has a beautiful interdependence with the waters, and has a lot of wisdom we can draw on.

Through an optional gentle wrist ointment, we will connect with her essence and open our hearts and minds to receive the gifts of insight that can help us navigate our lives.

About your facilitator Agnieszka Laskus aka Agni Las
Since her early years Agnieszka has been communing with the plant kingdom, in particular trees. After her 2017 initiation with Amanita Muscaria on the land of her ancestors Poland, she had been called by the mycelium network to work with medicinal mushrooms, especially Fly Agaric and Birch Polypore. She is an accredited energy healer and a water artist, and has just completed her Mycotherapy Studies, in the process of gaining an Associate Membership of UKI Mycotherapy Practitioner Register. She is training in Nutrition Advisory with Natural Healthcare College London.
Apart from her formal studies she has also travelled extensively to the US, Poland, Scotland, Wales and Ireland to deepen her practical exploration in the field. Agnieszka makes medicinal mushroom remedies and holds ceremonies to share the wisdom of these ancient medicinal plants and to help clients access mental, physical, emotional and spiritual healing that these plants have to offer.
Agnieszka’s practice has been to a great extent intuitively guided but also informed by a rigorous input from the leading scientists and researchers in the field: Fred Gillam, Amanita Dreamer, Robert Rogers, Martin Powell, Baba Masha, DR Ayman Daba.
