About this Event
Connecting Communities: A Gathering on Loneliness and Belonging
Loneliness and social isolation are increasingly recognized as important public health challenges affecting people of all ages and communities. Across Louisville and beyond, researchers, community organizations, healthcare providers, and civic leaders are developing innovative approaches to strengthen connection and foster belonging.
This gathering brings together individuals and organizations working on projects related to loneliness, belonging, and social connection. The goal is to create space to share current work, learn from one another, and explore opportunities for collaboration. Participants will briefly introduce their projects, discuss lessons learned, and identify ways to strengthen efforts across sectors.
By connecting the people working to address loneliness, we hope to spark new partnerships, share practical ideas, and strengthen the collective effort to build healthier, more connected communities.
