About this Event
The College Golf Seminar will take place on Monday, June 15 at 6:00PM at the Congregational Church in South Glastonbury (949 Main St, South Glastonbury, CT 06073).
This is a must attend event for any junior golfer and parent interested in learning more about how to prepare for life as a junior golfer and a future collegiate player.
The event is free to attend and will include pizza and soft drinks prior to the event getting underway.
Coaches who will lead our panel discussion include:
Dave Pezzino - Now in his 19th season at the helm of the Huskies, he now has 19 team titles during his tenure at UConn. Recently, Pezzino has coached Bradley Sawka who was honored as the 2024 BIG EAST Freshman of the year and Tommy Dallahan who earned second team all-conference honors. Both players previosly played on the Connecticut Section PGA Junior TOUR.
Doug Holub, PGA - Taking over both the men and women's golf programs in 2016, Holub has earned five MAAC Coach of the Year awards including two on the men's side (2021, 2025) and three as the women's coach (2021, 2022, 2023). In 2021, Holub was first coach in MAAC history to win Men's and Women's Coach of the Year in the same season.
