About this Event
Join Seattle artist and nature enthusiast, Teresa Stern, for a guided walk that helps you Connect to Nature with a series of mindfulness and creativity boosting exercises. The session aims to help people, whether they consider themselves an artist or not, find artful ways to engage all five main senses while outside in nature for personal health and wellness. We'll take a gentle meandering walk in nature together, with time to observe, wander, and be creative with a few short guided activities that will help you experience nature in a new way. The purpose is to slow down, recharge, and de-stress in a way shown to boost overall health and wellbeing, mental focus, and creativity. Part "forest bathing", part "mini creativity retreat", this unique program blends my background in art, sustainability, and public education.
