About this Event
Connect, Recruit, Grow: AACC Continuing Education & Workforce Event
Join us in person for an energizing day where you’ll connect with professionals, recruit top talent, and discover new ways to grow your skills and network. This event is designed to help employers connect directly with AACC talent and strengthen partnerships with the college.
The program begins with an employer networking reception (2-3:30pm), providing an opportunity to meet AACC faculty, staff, and other industry leaders while learning about available workforce resources. Our keynote, Karen Adams-Gilchrist, President and CEO of Providence of Maryland will share insight on how she has lead Providence into building a learning organization.
Departments represented include: Adult Basic Skills and English Language Learning, Apprenticeship and Applied Learning (Skill Trades), Computers & Technology, Corporate Training Group, Professional Certification and Continuing Education, Hotel, Culinary Arts and Tourism Institute (HCAT), and Lifelong Learning (Kids in College to Seniors).
Following our employer reception, employers interested in recruiting students can then participate in a resource and recruitment fair(4-6pm), hosting a table to engage with students, promote their organization, and discuss current job openings. It’s an efficient way to build visibility, meet potential hires, and explore ongoing collaboration with the college.
Don’t miss out on making great connections and gaining valuable insights!
