In the human connect workshop, we explore how to integrate holistic health into daily living routines in order to achieve your full potential.
This 90-minute workshop covers the foundations of breath work and cold water therapy.
The day experience includes :

Breathwork:
When you are physically or emotionally stressed it has a direct impact on how you breathe.
Breath work helps calm your stress and bring balance back to your mind and body.
Benefits of breathwork:

- Reduces levels of the stress hormone cortisol

Cold water therapy:
- Cold water exposure reduces inflammation and muscle tension.
- Improving risk factors for cardiovascular disease, such as blood pressure and cholesterol levels
- Boosts the immune system, helping to lower the risk of infection
- Immersion in cold water increases self-resilience, the ability to withstand and cope with uncomfortable situations that may arise in our daily lives.
If you want to try cold water therapy, it’s important to keep sessions brief and build them up gradually.
- Try a cold shower first gradually reduce the temperature and increase the length of time you spend in cold water as your body gets used to it.
- After your session warm up gradually to begin with don't have a hot bath or shower, as the sudden change in temperature can be dangerous.
