About this Event
The Congolese Entrepreneurs’ Fair in Dallas was established on January 12, 2019, under the leadership of Ici et Ailleurs LLC, in collaboration with the Congolese community in Dallas. This first edition, marked by strong collaboration between the two entities, aimed to bring together entrepreneurs from the Congolese diaspora in the United States with a common goal: contributing to the economic development of the Democratic Republic of Congo by encouraging investments and the transfer of skills.
This inaugural forum was a great success, with the participation of numerous entrepreneurs from the American diaspora, many of whom later chose to return and invest in the DRC. This momentum confirmed the key role that diasporas can play in the economic development of their home countries.
After a forced pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we took the time to restructure. Five years later, we are back for the Congolese Entrepreneurs’ Fair in Dallas 2024, a flagship event organized by Ici et Ailleurs LLC, in partnership with the National Agency for Investment Promotion (ANAPI) of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and the African Chamber of Commerce – DFW. This annual fair aims to promote economic exchanges between the DRC and the United States and highlight the talents, businesses, and innovative projects emerging from the Congolese diaspora.
