Rod Benson, a nationally recognized expert on conflict of interest matters, will provide practical guidance for addressing COIs in proposals and for handling COIs which arise during contract performance. Rod is an attorney and former Director of the Office of Acquisitions and Grant Management for the Centers and Medicare and Medicaid Services. He has extensive knowledge of and experience with COIs.

Trainers for this event:
Brian Hebbel has over 34 years of federal contracting experience. He was a Senior Acquisition Official (Group Director) at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Office of Acquisition and Grants Management. He provided oversight to three contracting divisions awarding $1,500,000,000 in contract awards in FY 2017. Under his leadership, he provided oversight and guidance to acquisition strategies and schedules, solicitation requirements, source selection and resolving complex contracting issues. He is the the Founder of AcquistionHelp.com and President of BARC Business Advisors, LLC.
Rod Benson is the President of Benson Advisory Services LLC,. They advise and provide assistance on Federal Government contracting and healthcare related matters. Prior to establishing the consulting firm, Rod served as Counsel in the Washington D.C. Office of Buchanan Ingersoll and Rooney. While working for the law firm, he provided advice and assistance regarding Federal contracting matters to a wide-range of clients. Rod had a 35-year career with the Federal Government. Rod was the Director of the Office of Acquisition and Grants for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. He was responsible for all Center of Medicare and Medicaid Services’ contracting and grant activities.
