Meet UCL experts in global health working on three continents to discuss their projects and ‘how to’ from first-hand experience.
About this Event

Location: UCL Chadwick Building, Room G08

This workshop will provide an overview of the funding streams for global health research, outline the new International Science Partnerships Fund (ISPF) scheme and answer questions such as what are the challenges and opportunities working in LMICs? What are the specifics in Latin America, South East Asia, Africa, and the Middle East regarding building partnerships, getting projects off the ground, dealing with unexpected local governmental challenges. This event will provide opportunities to meet the leading UCL experts in global health working on three continents to discuss their projects and ‘how to’ from first-hand experience.

The workshop is centred around digital global health and healthcare engineering research in LMICs, however, the funding streams and experts experience is cross-disciplinary making this is a useful event for any researchers at UCL who wish to learn about research in LMIC regardless of discipline.
