Concerts in the Plaza bring back the feeling of old summer evenings, when friends and families gathered in the town square to enjoy music and dance. This popular event returns to downtown St. Augustine with a wide range of live music throughout the summer, featuring some of the best local and regional talent. In celebration of America 250, this year’s concert series offers a special nod to Americana, highlighting sounds and styles rooted in the nation’s musical heritage.
2026 Show Times: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
The Venue
Many people call this event “the best way to spend a Thursday night in downtown St. Augustine,” and it’s easy to see why. Guests can relax and enjoy live music under the large oak trees in the Plaza de la Constitución, a public gathering place that has been used for over 400 years.
The Plaza is in the center of downtown St. Augustine, between Cathedral Place and King Street, just west of the Bridge of Lions. Each week, performers play from the Gazebo, which has stood in the middle of the Plaza for nearly 100 years.
Alcohol is not allowed in the Plaza, but you are welcome to bring food and enjoy a picnic.

Concerts are held every Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Information about weather delays and cancellations will be posted on the homepage of the city website by 5:00 PM on the day of each concert.
