The Greek Folk Choir of Brussels invites you to a lovely afternoon concert on the 14th of June!We will sing traditional songs from all over Greece from different times of the year and circumstances of the traditional lifestyle: songs about love, migration, Carnaval and wedding songs as well as “paralogés”, folk fables which narrate a story or a legend.
Join us to a journey through the traditional songs of Greece and Greek historic diaspora, from the Peloponnese to the Dodecanese and from Asia Minor to Epirus, from the Ioanian islands to Macedonia and Thrace.
We are excited to have three amazing musicians that will accompany our choir:
Panos Skouteris in clarinet and gaida
Margarita Dakou in violin
Nikos Avgoustidis in luth, lavta and oud
