You are warmly invited to an intimate evening of chamber music featuring internationally acclaimed musicians Jernej Albreht, Urška Horvat, Jure Smirnov Oštir, and Yoko Misumi. Join us for a festive programme that celebrates musical connections across cultures, weaving together classical masterpieces, contemporary Slovenian works, and vibrant gems of the 20th century.

Ludwig van Beethoven – Trio in B flat major, Op. 11 “Gassenhauer”
Matija Krečič – In a Melting Pot
Reinhold Glière – Gavotte and Berceuse
Béla Bartók – selection of short duos
Aram Khachaturian – Trio for Clarinet, Violin and Piano
Jernej Albreht, clarinet – Distinction graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, performer with major UK orchestras including the LSO, LPO, RPO, BBC Symphony and Philharmonia, Levanto Ensemble member, West End performer, and co-founder of Lammas Green Music Studio.
Urška Horvat, cello – winner of multiple international awards, soloist and chamber musician, including Dvořák’s Concerto at Cadogan Hall. Acclaimed recordings; artist with the Concordia Foundation and Live Music Now.
Jure Smirnov Oštir, violin – laureate of several international competitions, performs at Wigmore Hall, Bridgewater Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields, and the Enescu Festival. Appears with ensembles including the English Chamber Orchestra and Britten Sinfonia; plays a 1860 Maurizi violin.
Yoko Misumi, piano – trained in Kyoto and London, co-founder of the Greenwich Trio, international performer, collaborator with leading artists, and critically acclaimed recording artist.
The concert series Musical Bridges between Slovenia & the UK is supported by the Cultural Fund, which promotes Slovenian culture abroad and is administered by the Slovenian Embassy in London on behalf of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia.
