Concert dedicated to HAYDN and his Baritone String Trios

The string baritone is a bass viol equipped with two rows of strings 6 in gut and between 9 and 20 so-called “sympathetic” metal strings developing a sound halo rich in higher harmonics. Many baritone virtuosos and composers such as Joseph Haydn emerged in this favorable environment of the imperial courts of Vienna and London.

Frédéric GONDOT: Violin and viola d'amour: Was solo viola at the Lamoureux concerts then joined the Orchester National d'Ile-de-France

Lucile FAUQUET: Cello: Joined the Moscow Conservatory and has since played in several chamber groups
