What's next after your concealed carry class? Got your permit but still feel like your missing something? Our Concealed Carry Next Steps - Confidence Course is what you're looking for. This class covers what you need after taking a basic concealed carry class to confidently carry in the real world. Students will get to practice under the supervision of an instructor while drawing from a concealed holster, dry fire drills and practice, and simulator training. This class will also cover what to do in close proximity of a threat if you need to break out of a grab, grip, or hold in order to break free, strike, and create distance before you reach for your gun. The afternoon will cover first aid, CPR, and AED training with a focus on gunshot wounds (tourniquets, packing wounds, chest seals) and you will leave with a 2-year American Heart Association certification which will be sent to your provided email address.Visit uscca.com/advantage or call us at 337-270-2727 to sign up!
Next class is Saturday, September 13th at 9AM at Advantage Training Academy located at 1126 Coolidge Blvd., Suite A, Lafayette, LA 70503. Cost of class is $150.
Participants will need to bring the following equipment to this class to get the most out of this training:
*Gun with NO AMMUNITION (REQUIRED)
*Holster(s) and how you plan to secure the holster(s) i.e. belt, purse, bag, etc. (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
*Minimum 2 magazines (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
*Current First Aid Kit/Tourniquet (STRONGLY SUGGESTED)
