This class is appropriate for complete newcomers as well as those who would like to improve their basic skills. Learners will be able to move at their own pace and focus on the skills on which they need to improve.
This class begins with an introduction to Northstar. We’ll learn how to sign in, choose a topic, and navigate the video lessons. If you’re unfamiliar with using a mouse and keyboard, we’ll review that as well. Then, we’ll move to the library’s public computers to get started with our lessons. You can choose your own topic and learn at your own pace—no struggling to keep up! A librarian will be available answer any questions.
What to Bring
You do not need to bring a computer.
Bring your email address, if you have one.
Headphones will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.
