About this Event
At Trace, we think a lot about waste — what we throw away, what we reuse, and how we can live more intentionally.
But what about the waste we carry inside?
The self-critical thoughts. The quiet pressure. The voice that says you're not doing enough, or not doing it well enough.
Composting Your Inner Critic is a playful, grounded 90-minute workshop that brings zero-waste principles into your inner life. Just like compost turns scraps into nourishment for new growth, you'll learn how to transform familiar patterns of self-doubt into clarity, curiosity, and forward momentum.
Guided by mindfulness teacher and Positive Intelligence® coach Martha Brettschneider, this experience blends reflection, light conversation, and guided practices — simple tools you can carry into everyday life.
You'll leave with:
- A fresh way to relate to your inner critic
- Practical tools to shift from self-judgment to curiosity
- A sense of what you're ready to grow this season
No prior experience needed. Just curiosity — and a willingness to see things a little differently.
Because nothing in nature is wasted. And nothing in you has to be either.
Ticket price is $35 and includes a $10 gift card to spend at Trace. Come early or stay after to browse — there's always something worth discovering in the store.
