We invite you to apply your love and knack for making things —whatever they may be!— to your passion for spreading the word on composting.
We are focusing this event on plastic fusing - a technique taught to us by Brooklyn Creative Reuse, that uses old plastic bags to create durable and colorful signage! Help us make a big sign for our mid-scale community compost site and meet other crafty composters!
We will have materials from the Big Reuse Center, Brooklyn Creative Reuse, and other scavegned items. We ask you to bring an iron if you can and clean plastic bags!
