Compost Awareness Week Pop-up

May 3rd is the beginning of Compost Awareness Week, and we want to celebrate our community partners and business who bring sustainability into their organization. By hosting local businesses, nonprofits, and government services, we hope to spotlight solutions to food waste.

This interactive pop-up will transform a central public space into a hub of climate action, food recovery innovation, and compost education, demonstrating how Wake County can move food from landfill to land, and from excess to access.
