Learning how to use a compass can be confusing, especially if you do not have a good teacher... As luck would have it, we are fantastic teachers and can get you where you want to go! Learn the parts of a compass, how to follow a bearing, calculate distance based on your individual stride, and more. Meet at the Patio behind the Visitors Center.This is a free program oriented towards younger children but all are welcome.
