/eng below/ commuter започва като музикален проект на Дионисис Кутавас (вокали/китара) в Атина (Гърция) през 2019 г. Проектът се превръща в пълна група през октомври 2021 г. с присъединяването на Димитрис Кутсулис (барабани), Спилиос Каккас (бас/вокали) и Костас Бариамис (китара).
Повлияна от пост-пънк звученето на канадската сцена, както и от новата вълна от Обединеното кралство, наред с други, групата е изнасяла концерти заедно с популярни международни изпълнители (Dry Cleaning, Protomartyr, A Place to Bury Strangers, DITZ).
commuter издават своето първо едноименен EP през януари 2023 г. във всички стрийминг платформи и на касета чрез Bitter Tea Records. Дебютният им дългосвирещ албум „Guilt Eraser“ излиза през есента на 2024 г. и е наличен в дигитален и винилов формат.

commuter started as a musical project of Dionysis Koutavas (vocals/guitar) in Athens (Greece) in 2019. The project became a full band in October 2021 with the addition of Dimitris Koutsoulis (drums), Spilios Kakkas (bass/vocals) and Kostas Bariamis (guitar).
Influenced by the post-punk sounds of the Canadian scene as well as the new wave of UK among others, the band has played live shows alongside popular international acts (Dry Cleaning, Protomartyr, A Place to Bury Strangers, DITZ).
commuter released their first self-titled EP in January 2023 on all streaming platforms and cassette via Bitter Tea Records. Their debut full-length album "Guilt Eraser" was released in the fall of 2024, available on digital and vinyl format.
