commuter започна како музички проект на Дионисис Кутавас (вокал/гитара) во Атина (Грција) во 2019 година. Проектот стана целосен бенд во октомври 2021 година со додавањето на Димитрис Куцулис (тапани), Спилиос Какас (бас/вокал) и Костас Баријамис (гитара).под влијание на пост-панк звуците на канадската сцена, како и од новиот бран на Велика Британија, меѓу другите, бендот свиреше во живо заедно со популарни меѓународни изведувачи (Dry Cleaning, Protomartyr, A Place to Bury Strangers, DITZ).
commuter го издадоа својот прв истоимен EP во јануари 2023 година на сите платформи за стриминг и на касета преку Bitter Tea Records. Нивниот деби албум „Guilt Eraser“ беше издаден на есен 2024 година, достапен во дигитален и винил формат.

commuter started as a musical project of Dionysis Koutavas (vocals/guitar) in Athens (Greece) in 2019. The project became a full band in October 2021 with the addition of Dimitris Koutsoulis (drums), Spilios Kakkas (bass/vocals) and Kostas Bariamis (guitar).
Influenced by the post-punk sounds of the Canadian scene as well as the new wave of UK among others, the band has played live shows alongside popular international acts (Dry Cleaning, Protomartyr, A Place to Bury Strangers, DITZ).
commuter released their first self-titled EP in January 2023 on all streaming platforms and cassette via Bitter Tea Records. Their debut full-length album "Guilt Eraser" was released in the fall of 2024, available on digital and vinyl format.
