About this Event
Join us at The Chrysalis: Monarch Center for the Arts for an energizing and grounding yoga and meditation led by Mel (she/her, CYT-200) to stretch and strengthen your body, mind, and heart. We'll start with a brief connection session, where participants can journal, chat, or ponder a guiding question. Then, Mel will lead us through an energizing and grounding asana (physical) practice. All bodies and abilities are welcome. If you can breath, you can practice yoga!
We'll wind down with the gentle and radiant vibrations of a crystal sound bath to center and integrate the practice. This event is a perfect opportunity to relax, unwind, and connect with like-minded individuals in our community. Come as you are, no experience required. See you there!

About the Instructor:
Mel (she/her) is a certified yoga instructor, performance artist, teacher, and facilitator who is passionate about creating spaces where everyone can thrive. Originally from the East Coast, Melanie discovered yoga at a young age as a complement to her dance practice and has been devoted to yoga's ancient wisdom and timeless relevance ever since. She aims to create classes that are a safe, welcoming place to explore the depths of breath, capacity, strength, fluidity, and rest.
