Community Workshop on the Redwood City Sea Level Rise Study

To help our community address increasing flood and sea level rise threats due to climate change, the City has prepared a Sea Level Rise Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation Planning Study. This Study is an initial assessment meant to provide the foundation for future Sea Level Rise Plan that will include a more in-depth adaptation measures, strategies, and community’s desired futures and goals.

The focus of the May 8th workshop is on presenting and finalizing the initial assessment of the City’s existing vulnerabilities, future risk from sea level rise, and exploration on high-level adaptation options. We will conduct additional community meetings in the future during the next phase of adaptation planning for Redwood City.
