Paekawakawa Reserve is community-owned and driven, and we we love helping hands!
Our spring & summer working bees are about weeding, tree releasing, and chatting with lovely people. No experience needed, cup of tea provided.
Volunteers meet just before 1pm at the Derwent St entrance, or if coming later just follow the voices into the valley.
More than 20 years ago, Island Bay locals fundraised to buy the the Reserve, and it's been run on volunteer love ever since. Come and be a part of it!
