About this Event
Join From The Heart Foundation for a free community mental health and wellness workshop based on the "Wellness Recovery Reaction Plan (WRAP)" program!
This wellness program is a great way to discover your own personal wellness and either come back into self or for many of us, learning for the first time how to address and understand our own best state of well being.
What is WRAP?
WRAP is a popular, evidence-based practice, developed by peers, that guides people through the process of discovering their own personal resources and then using those resources to get well, stay well and effectively deal with life challenges, improving health and quality of life over time.
Over the course of 6 weeks we will discover what our wellness looks like as we focus on WRAP’s Five Key Concepts: Hope, Personal Responsibility, Education, Self Advocacy, and Support through a process of building action plans for Daily Wellness, Stressors, Early Warning Signs, When Things Are Breaking Down, Crisis, and Post Crisis all while developing our Wellness Toolboxes to aid in our continued well-being.
This May, starting 5/13/23, from 1pm to 3pm each Saturday, we will be hosting an in person WRAP session for all of the phenomenal and amazing people in our community. The sessions will be facilitated by From The Heart Foundation.
The workshop will take place for two hours each Saturday and all materials for participants will be provided.
