EVENT DETAILS
Are you ready to use art as a tool for dialogue and social change? This two-hour, hands-on workshop is designed for leaders, artists, activists, and community members who want to make an impact. No prior theater experience is needed—just an open mind and a willingness to participate!
Through a series of dynamic theater games and interactive exercises, you’ll play as a community as you explore a collective identity, connect with others, and envision new possibilities for action. Here’s what you’ll experience:
Explore Who are we: Gain self-awareness and explore your identity within a community.
Seeing the World Together: Visualize shared experiences and connect with others.
Understanding Why: Engage in problem-solving and explore the root causes of social issues.
Taking Action as a Community: Exploring the potential for co-creating a plan for healing, education, or social change.
This workshop isn’t just about performance; it’s about creating space for transformation, healing, and growth. You’ll leave with new tools for self-expression, hopefully, a stronger connection to your community, and a clearer sense of how you can contribute to meaningful change.
Whether you’re seeking personal healing, a deeper understanding of social justice, or ways to use your voice for education, this workshop offers the insights and tools to make an impact
