About this Event
Have you or someone you loved experienced a heart attack requiring a trip to the Salem Health Cardiac Catheterization Lab aka Cath Lab? If so, would you like to learn more about what the staff and doctors who care for people in the cath lab do as well as have a deeper understanding of the process of reestablishing blood flow to the heart? This is your opportunity to walk through the cath lab with cath lab staff and an interventional cardiologist from Salem Hospital Medical Group. The evening will consist of an introduction by the cardiac care coordinator, a tour of the cath lab and a chance to participate in a case review using one of our patient simulator mannequins. This is a rare look behind the doors of the cath lab into an environment where visitors are usually not allowed. To participate advance registration is required.
