Stephanie Lenox is the author of The Business, Congress of Strange People, and The Heart That Lies Outside the Body and co-author of Short-Form Creative Writing with H. K. Hummel. An enrolled citizen of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi, she studies Bodwéwadmimwen, an experience that informs her recent poetry. She works as an editor at Chemeketa Press in Salem, Oregon, and is completing The Elements of Inclusive Style, a book on writing with clarity, accountability, specificity, and humanity.
Emmett Wheatfall lives in Portland, Oregon. He is a two-time nominee for Oregon Poet Laureate and recipient of the prestigious 2024 Oregon Poetry Association Patricia Ruth Banta Award. His poetry has been published in several books, collections, and anthologies. Emmett has been the keynote speaker at two Oregon Poetry Association Conferences. In 2020, Corban University produced a nine-part documentary highlighting Emmett’s life and introduction to poetry. Emmett is one of Oregon’s premier poets known nationally and internationally.
