Have you heard of the infamous "hanky code", but aren't totally sure what it is? Maybe the labels just feel too cut and dry for your tastes? Whether you're coming to learn all about flagging, or joining us to create a new code of your own creation, Cincinnati Leather would love to see you at Tillie's!**What to Expect:** This will be a semi-facilitated crafting night. There is no hard start or stop time - come when you can and feel free to go when you need to!
We will be providing:
- "blank", clean hankies for you to design and take home! we will have an abundance of white if you'd like a fresh canvas to start on, and an assortment of other colors as well.
- embroidery floss and needles (if you need help on basic stitches, haifisch can help!)
- iron on patches (& iron!)
- fabric markers
- rhinestones (*note, we will highly recommend that if using E6000 craft glue, folks do this outside to reduce fumes)
- some commonly accepted hanky code guides to jumpstart your creativity
*Social lubricant* - nope, not alcohol! Cincinnati Leather will also have bingo cards available to encourage you to chat with other attendees and find out how they flag! Fill out your whole card to win a (yet to be determined) prize!
**Accessibility Info:** There are two steps to get inside Tillie’s. The back patio area has an additional set of stairs (approximately two down and three up) to navigate in order to get onto the cigar deck. A ramp is available by request for these areas - shoot us a DM and we will get it set up!
Folks who are 18 - 20 are welcome at this event!
If you are under 21, there is a cover of $10 to enter Tillie's
All bathrooms are gender neutral.
Tillie's offers all of their signature cocktails as mocktails as well!
Street (Hamilton Ave) and paid parking lots (next to Northside Transit Center) are both available. The parking lot has multiple ADA spots available.
