Saturday, June 20, 2026, Augusta, GA) – The Blankets of Love Charity, in partnership with Shred-it and Sigma Theta Alpha Military Sorority, Inc., will host a shred day for community residents of the city of Augusta, North Augusta, Columbia County, Hephzibah, and Fort Eisenhower, to shred their confidential documents securely on Saturday, January 17th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the At Home Parking Lot, 1323 Augusta West Parkway, Augusta, GA (Across from WJBF News Channel 6). Rain or shine, the Shred Day will occur regardless of the weather.To raise funds for the homeless and unhoused, The Blankets of Love Charity, in partnership with Shred-it and Sigma Theta Alpha Military Sorority, Inc., will host a shred day for residents of the cities of Augusta, North Augusta, Columbia County, Hephzibah, and Fort Eisenhower, to shred their confidential documents securely.
The cost of shredding will be $6/box of paper. These boxes can be standard copy paper boxes or banker’s boxes. Larger trash bags of paper will cost $9/bag.
